Rick Ross Shoots New Video In Lagos

United States rapper and Maybach Music Group boss, Rick Ross, has shot some scenes for his hit song "Hold Me Back" from his recently released fifth album, 'God Forgives, I Don’t', in Lagos.

The beefy rapper, who was in the country as the headliner for the St. EVE’ Summer Jam Fest held at the Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos last Friday, 17 August, used the opportunity to cut some scenes at Obalende and Sura areas of the Lagos Island over the weekend.

Rozay, as the rapper is fondly called, has taken to the twitter through his twitter handle @rickyrozay, to confirm the shooting of the video. “Filming in the slums in Lagos. I just bought out the whole grocery store and gave it to the village. #MMG presence strong in our homeland,” he tweeted.

The shoot, directed by Maybach Music Group official films director, Spiff TV lasted  for two hours.

Meanwhile, the hip-hop heavyweight held Lagos concert goers spellbound for close to two hours with his performance. With an intermittent shout of ‘Can I get a Rozay?’ Ross thrilled fans to number of his hit songs including Blowing Money Fast, I’m Not A Star, Hold Me Back and Hustlin.

Other stars who performed at the concert included Flavour, Iyanya, Vector, Dammy Krane, Terry G, Flowsick, Eva and South African duo, Liquideep.

There are also other top stars like 2face Idibia and wife, Annie Macaulay, Don Jazzy, Dr. SID, Sound Sultan and D’Prince, who all came to show support as guests at the VIP section.
