Singers Rihanna and Chris Brown's relationship has been on and off more times than Polly put the kettle on and Sukey take it off again. While it seemed at one point, that Chris Brown and Rihanna had made up for good, they went and decided to call time on their relationship once again.

Since then, Rihanna and Chris Brown have been at each other's throats, with a number of messages about each other on Twitter. Now, reports claim that Rihanna will never get back with Chris, following his comments he made on an Australian radio show, about Rihanna being to young for him to "be wife-ing".

A supposed insider is quoted as saying, "She really thought that was a sexist, degrading thing for him to say. Especially after all Rihanna endured after he beat her and all that. [Rihanna reportedly called Brown and] really blasted him, using language that made it sound like she never will get back with him again — no matter what people think."

With that being said, there is also another rumour going round, with another supposed insider, claiming that Chris Brown and Rihanna are on the verge of getting back together. I simply cannot keep up!

Do you think Rihanna and Chris Brown should get back together? Because I dont think they should....

Brad Pitt Calls Angelina Jolie's Double Mastectomy Decision 'Absolutely Heroic'.

The morning after Angelina Jolie published an op-ed in The New York Times that revealed her decision to have a double mastectomy, the man in her life is showing his support.

"Having witnessed this decision firsthand, I find Angie's choice, as well as many others like her, absolutely heroic," Brad Pitt said in a statement to London's Evening Standard. "I thank our medical team for their care and focus."

"All I want is for her to have a long and healthy life, with myself and our children," Pitt continued. "This is a happy day for our family."

In her op-ed piece, Jolie described her difficult choice to have surgery because genetic tests showed her to have a high risk of developing the disease. Her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, died of ovarian cancer at 56 in 2007.

She also expressed how much she leaned on Pitt, 49, whom the 37-year-old actress described as "loving and supportive," and there for her "for every minute of the surgeries." ......

Governor Fashola Advocates N200 Monthly Donation By Lagos Residents.

The Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, has called on relevant stakeholders in the state to collaborate with his administration to ensure universal access to good health in Lagos State through the monthly donation of N200 by Lagos residents to cater for the state’s health sector.

Speaking at the 2013 State Council on Health held at Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, he added that if this little amount of money could be donated as suggested, there would be no need for Nigerians spending huge sums of money on medical attention overseas again.

“We are looking at a situation where even the lowest income earners, somebody who roasts yam or fried plantain, can participate in the scheme. Is there anyone among this category who cannot afford N50 weekly?,” he said.

According to him, if just the 6 million people that voted in the 2011 general election could contribute N200 each, the state would have more than enough to cater for the health sector and all cases of people in search of fund for surgeries.....

Woman's Troll-Doll Obsession.

Remember those troll dolls from the 1960s?.....Michelle Kerrins doesn't have to strain hard to conjure up the memories. All she has to do is walk into the spare room she calls her "troll sanctuary," which houses her monster collection of spike-haired plastic dolls.

The 38-year-old L.A. gymnastics instructor began collecting troll dolls at age 10 and has now amassed more than 3,000 of various types and sizes, spending four days a week thrift-shopping for more.

Her 14-year-old daughter helps with the collection, but alas, her husband, Dean, is less enthusiastic. He considers it a turn-off when Kerrins puts on a troll-doll mask and bikini and tries to flirt with him.

No accounting for taste, I guess.

Football's Messi Scores Movie Hat-Trick Planned For 2014 World Cup.

US filmmakers are to make a biopic about Argentinian football legend Lionel Messi, to be released around the time of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Beverly Hills-based Epic Pictures Group said it has acquired the rights to a biography of the Barcelona star, "Messi: The Inside Story of the Boy Who Became a Legend."

The film will be a dramatisation based on the book by European sports journalist Luca Caioli, rather than a documentary. Epic will finance and produce it, and are looking for a writer and director.

Caioli drew on interviews with family, coaches and teammates for the book, which was originally titled "Messi: The Boy who could not Grow" -- a reference to growth hormone deficiency he suffered as a boy.

"Ultimately, this is a Rocky-style tale about a young boy from humble beginnings who overcomes his physical shortcomings to become one of the greatest players of all time," said the film company.

The book has been published in 32 countries in 31 languages. Luca Caioli said: "I am very excited to be working with Epic Pictures Group on this powerful story."

Epic Pictures chief executive Patrick Ewald added: "The goal is to make a powerful and positive film that will leave audiences feeling inspired to go after their dreams no matter how impossible they may seem."

The company noted, in its release about the Messi film, that it recently won acclaim for "Big Ass Spider!" by director Mike Mendez, which premiered at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Texas in March....

Selena Gomez Files Countersuit Against Fragrance Company.

Lawsuits are stinky, especially when perfume is involved. Selena Gomez was sued by the Adrenalina fragrance company for breach of contract, and now she’s striking back with a countersuit of her own.

Late last month, Adrenalina filed a suit against Gomez, claiming they spent over $2 million on marketing alone in addition to research and development for her perfumes. They said Gomez and her camp came up with a bogus excuse to end the deal, leaving Adrenalina without a spokesperson, and they sued for both damages and to lock Gomez into endorsing the products.

Now, TMZ reports that Gomez claims she backed out of the deal when she got wind that Adrenalina wouldn’t be able to fulfill their end of the deal. Gomez’s filing says Adrenalina was going broke and wouldn’t be able to pay for the manufacture and marketing of the perfume line she was slated to endorse, and that the company could barely afford to even pay its own workers.

If they couldn’t muster that, her lawsuit alleges, they likely wouldn’t have been able to pony up the $5.2 million she was promised up front as well as the 5 percent in royalty sales on the Sel-branded scents. Gomez claims she nixed the deal to protect her own reputation and is demanding $5.2 million from the company — minimum......

Bank Customers To Pay N100 ATM Maintenance Fee In Nigeria.

The Central Bank of Nigeria has directed bank customers to pay N100 annually for the maintenance of their automated transaction machine, ATM.

CBN, under Mallam Lamido Sanusi, in a recent directive to all banks operating in Nigeria stated that the annual fee replaces the monthly card maintenance fee, which banks were charging their customers in the past.
www.allvoices.com reporter learnt from reliable sources that the directive is with immediate effect.
It could be re-called that over the years, Nigerian bank customers have grumbled over the erratic and reckless manners some banks have been deducting money from their accounts in the name of maintenance fee and other charges.

With the CBN directive, it is expected that the burdens of bank customers may have been made lighter, a bank official with Ecobank Group said today.

UAE Says Three Citizens Held Over Tanzania Bombing.

Tanzanian officials initially said four Saudis were being held after the attack on a Catholic church in Arusha in north Tanzania but the government subsequently identified them only as "foreigners of Middle Eastern origin" without giving their nationalities.

A diplomat from Saudi Arabia has been quoted as saying only one of those held was from the kingdom.

"We are following with interest the issue of the three citizens who are being held in Tanzania," the UAE Foreign Ministry of the U.S.-allied Gulf state said on its Twitter account.

Investigators said they were still determining the type of device used in the attack on the church in Tanzania, a nation of about 45 million people roughly split evenly between Muslims and Christians.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, the UAE foreign minister, on Monday condemned the attack, which has heightened sectarian tensions in the east African country.

The Vatican's ambassador to Tanzania, Archbishop Francisco Montecillo Padilla, was attending the official opening of the church when the explosion occurred. He escaped unharmed.

Saudi ambassador in Dar es-Salaam, Hani Abdallah Mo'menah, said one Saudi and three Emiratis had been arrested, Tuesday's edition of Saudi al-Riyadh daily reported.

"When the attack happened, the Saudi, his three Emirati friends and two Tanzanian friends happened to be where the explosion took place in Arusha," the paper quoted him as saying.

Mo'menah said he was on his way to Arusha, adding: The whole issue is mere suspicion and we expect them to be released, God willing." He said the group were there as tourists.

Two Christian leaders were killed in Tanzania's semi-autonomous, predominantly Muslim islands of Zanzibar earlier this year and there have been attacks on Muslim leaders and mosques..

Sotheby's auction house hasn't said who bought Fernand Leger's Three Women at the Red Table for $US7.2 million yesterday. The abstract work had a pre-sale estimate of $US5 million to $US7 million.
Proceeds of the sale will benefit the Ray of Light Foundation, which supports girls' education in Afghanistan, Pakistan and other countries.

Madonna says she wanted to "trade something valuable for something invaluable" in countries where female education is rare or nonexistent. She bought the work at Sotheby's in 1990 for $US3.4 million.

Leger created the work in 1921 as part of a series depicting women with still-life compositions.

Blackberry R10 Leak Shows Specs.

This leak comes from the Chinese gadget blog DGtle and it shows a somewhat traditional BlackBerry form factor: a screen and a full physical keyboard. The report suggests that the BlackBerry R10 will sport a 3.1-inch, 720p HD screen, a 5-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and a 1800mAh battery.

The BlackBerry R10 is also expected to be released in the late summer or early fall. BlackBerry is holding its annual conference later this month and that could be a natural time to announce the device, the full specs, its release date and pricing.

The BlackBerry R10 should run the latest BlackBerry 10 software and this is the company's modern attempt at mobile computing. It's actually quite a nice experience because it's robust, built from the ground up with touch in mind and it still places a strong emphasis on messaging in all manners.

On the down side, I still think that the app ecosystem could use some help. I also believe that there are still a lot of elements that need to be improved. BlackBerry 10 is a great 1.0 platform but it's still a 1.0 -- BlackBerry can and will evolve much of its software to deliver a better user experience. ...

Parents Rejects 400-level Son’s Corpse From Police.

The body of a 400-level student of Business Administration Department of the Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, Seyi Fasere, who was allegedly killed by the police in Oye Ekiti has been rejected by the deceased’s parents. The 28-year-old undergraduate was allegedly killed by the police and labelled an armed robber.

Parents of the deceased, Mr. Joseph and Florence Fasere with their family lawyer said the body of their son was rejected because the police being killers of the young man should not be the investigator of the case but a judicial panel of inquiry instituted by the state government.

The family insisted that Seyi was not an armed robber but a victim of police’s extra-judicial killing. They said the police has equally tarnished the family name by calling its son an armed robber.

Lil Wayne Canned By Mountain Dew.

Lil Wayne will no longer "do" Mountain Dew ... the soda company announced it's DROPPING the rapper over a rap verse in which he compared the beating of Emmett Till to rough sex.

Wayne was a major spokesperson for Mountain Dew --starring in several commercials. Wayne began appearing in Dew ads in early 2012. Mountain Dew is owned by PepsiCo.

It's unclear when PepsiCo will stop running ads featuring the rapper.

Weezy came under fire back in February over a verse he dropped on the song "Karate Chop" ... in which he said, "Pop a lot of pain pills, 'bout to put rims on my skateboard wheels ... beat that p***y up like Emmett Till."

FYI -- Till was 14 back in 1955 when he was beaten beyond recognition, shot and dumped in a river ... after he was accused of flirting with a white woman in Mississippi. His open-casket funeral and murder trial were early flashpoints in the civil rights movement.

Wayne had sent a letter to Till's family, saying he's sorry their feelings were hurt by the song ... but the family REJECTED the letter, saying the statement "falls short of an apology."

A former Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Saminu Turaki, has been declared wanted by a Federal High Court, sitting in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital.

Instagram Adds Tagging To Photos.

Instagram, one of the world's most popular online photo resources, is bringing tagging on.

On Thursday, it introduces "Photos of You," a new feature that lets folks tag their friends, or things -- like a coffee shop or band playing.

Facebook purchased Instagram in 2012 for $1 billion, so it was only a matter of time until the social network began adding tools for Instagram users. Instagram now has over 100 million users of its app for Apple and Android devices.

Now, when you upload a photo to Instagram via the app, "you can add the people and things in the photo as easily as you add a location and hashtags," says Instagram, in a news release.

When you have been tagged by someone else, like on Facebook, you'll learn of it via a notification and the photo will appear in your "Photos of You" section.

If that bothers you, you can tweak the settings on the app to ensure that photos won't appear on your profile until you approve it.

The "Photos of You" feature is available through an update from Apple's App Store and Google Play....

Enjoy!
