   One Artist that amazingly caught the eye by his thrilling Performance was "Emperor KB", Nigeria's foremost Reggae Dance hall Star who Superbly blends Reggae with R'n'B & Pop. Emperor KB totally blew the crowd away performing his hit debut Reggae Single "Kiss n Caress" and two dance-hall songs from his forthcoming Album. The 6'6 tall Nigerian musician also danced his various steps to the amusement of the fans while performing and it was amazing. The cheer from the crowd and the paparazzi camera's where Spot on for the handsome dude has he gave a performance that will always be remembered by fans has one of the best in Felabration, going by a spectacular show of creativity he displayed on stage with his band, his dance, his songs and his energy.

"Stop The Insults": Toni Payne To K Solo.

Toni Payne, estranged wife of music star, 9ice, has advised music producer and singer, Solomon Oyeniyi, popularly known as K-Solo, to stop the gaggle of insults he has been raining on his estranged wife, Kikelomo, and her new born baby, on social media.

On 26 October, Kikelomo was delivered of a baby boy purportedly for K-Solo and she immediately announced the birth and posted a picture of the new born on Facebook and Twitter.

K-Solo started receiving congratulatory messages from fans on social networks, but rather than appreciate, K-Solo, who recently announced his engagement to another lady, Bimbo, via his Facebook page, denounced both the mother (Kikelomo) and her new baby in different Twitter messages.

Riled by the tone of the messages Payne lashed out at K-Solo describing his tweets as simply “immaturity, wickedness of the highest order”.

She reeled out some tweets through her twitterhandle @tonipayne: “I would not wish my worst enemy go thru wot (what) that lady is going tru (through) immediately after giving birth. Have some damn compassion"

In June, Kikelomo had gone to the press to reveal the details of her turbulent relationship with K-Solo. Both had met on Facebook early last year and by November, they were married. She claimed that the relationship had always been characterized by lies and infidelity.

By August, the two made up and even granted a Lagos-based television station, an interview where they claimed to have been ‘having fun’ and playing pranks with pictures of bruised faces to ascertain who their true friends are.

Rihanna Unapologetic About Selling $250 Version Of Album.

We all know Rihanna lives the lush life. But she wants to share some of those caviar wishes and champagne dreams with her fans on her upcoming album, Unapologetic.....

The Barbadian beauty's seventh album, due out on November 16, will come in the standard edition, and what you might call the VIP baller's version as well. There were speculations of a verification after Don Jazzy allegedly admitted to having issues with his verification adding that he followed too many people and changed his twitter handle many times.

Don't Underestimate Us - Blackberry Boss.

He took over in January, after Mr Lazaridis and his co-CEO Jim Balsillie stepped down, battered by the crisis at the Blackberry company which probably explained the tensions of our interview the previous spring.

With its share of the smartphone market heading south and investors agitated about the precipitous fall in the share price, Mr Heins faced an unenviable challenge. When he was asked how much progress he made, he took  through a list of management changes and restructuring initiatives.

But he knows his real challenge is to turn around perceptions of Blackberry.

Last week the New York Times ran a feature which could hardly have been more damaging, suggesting that Blackberry owners were now ashamed of their devices. In the city where every Wall Street banker and hotshot lawyer once flaunted this symbol of their need to be connected to their email 24/7, this was hurtful stuff.

When I brought up the article, Mr Heins insisted it was poorly researched and far from the truth: "80 million users that are loyal is a different testament."

But as if to highlight the huge problem that Blackberry has in the United States, he went on: "What I see in my markets outside the US is huge growth, huge commitment to Blackberry."

But there appears to be no growth and no commitment in the US - indeed, figures show that RIM's smartphone market share keeps on falling, down another 3% between May and August this year.

Blackberry is still a very respected brand across the developing world - but it is undeniable that it has lost its cachet in the US and Europe. Turning that around and pulling the company out of its death spiral all depends on a new operating system, Blackberry 10.

Mr Heins gave a demo, saying that this was a "whole new paradigm" in mobile operating systems. Unlike the pattern set by Apple's first iPhone, where a user has to continually go in and out of a menu of apps, Blackberry 10's trick is something called Flow. This enables you to move seamlessly between a whole range of apps, heading from an email to your calendar to a social network without returning to a home screen.

The key difference, though, is that RIM has finally surrendered fully to the touchscreen experience, having insisted for years that a physical keyboard was integral to its appeal. There will still be devices with keys to tap but Mr Heins indicated that the buttonless Blackberry was the future.

The CEO and his executive team have been travelling the globe spreading the gospel of Blackberry 10 to developers - who will provide the apps on which its appeal depends - and the mobile operators who will sell it to consumers. He said there had been plenty of support.

But here's the rub - the new system won't be available until the first quarter of next year, and that may be too late. With every passing week, more consumers choose Android or Apple phones, and even more crucially, more corporations switch away from Blackberry. The management consultants Booz Allen and US Customs are amongst the recent deserters. Winning them back will be a lot harder than losing them.

But Mr Heins remained resolutely cheery. "Quality matters," he insisted when it was suggested RIM had already missed the boat. "We're not just building an update of Blackberry 7, we're building a whole new mobile computing platform. Don't underestimate the dynamic that this platform is going to create in the market." And he made this bold claim: "In the US we are going to regain our market share with Blackberry 10."

With Android and Apple now grabbing most of that market, the road back looks hard - and that is if you ignore the much better-funded Windows Phone platform. I know plenty of people who are anything but ashamed to own a Blackberry......

But a brand that has been left behind in a fast-changing world has only a short time to turn things around......

Jay Z And Beyonce Lose Bid To Trademark Daughter's Name.

Jay Z and Beyoncé have lost a bid to trademark the name of their daughter, Blue Ivy. The musicians' petition was denied by the US patent and trademark office, permitting an American wedding planner to continue using the name.

"Money doesn't buy everything," Veronica Alexander told Rolling Stone. Until recently, Alexander had been in danger of losing the rights to the name of her own business: although Blue Ivy Events was founded in 2009, Jay-Z and Beyoncé were seeking to reserve the phrase "Blue Ivy" as a brand name for their own line of baby products. The couple's first daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, was born on 7 January 2012.

Alexander responded to Jay-Z and Beyoncé's trademark claim by submitting her own application. The trademark office has now authorised her to continue using the Blue Ivy name for her events company, while the hip-hop power couple can allegedly use the name for other kinds of businesses. "If this [hadn't worked], I'd go after both of them," Alexander said. "There's no way by way of being a celebrity they should have entitlement [to the name]. Shame on them."

Alexander recalled being surprised when she learned about the name of the little girl: "Nobody names their daughter Blue Ivy," she said. But their decision – and the controversy – has been good for her business. Besides, should the couple be unsatisfied, the 32-year-old told the Telegraph there's an easy solution.

"If Beyoncé and Jay-Z want to buy me out," she said, "I'd welcome that."

He may be a relatively unknown illusionist, but you could hardly describe Dynamo as being wet behind the ears.
And the magician, whose real name is Steve Frayne, certainly proved this was the case as he ‘walked’ across the River Thames.
The nifty footwork was a suitably jaw-dropping publicity stunt for his new TV series.
The Bradford-born illusionist, 28, made it half way across the stretch of the river in front of the Houses of Parliament in London before he was picked up by what appeared to be a River Police boat.
    But People believed that this was one more thing that was not as it seemed – and the boat crew all part of the act.
 Stunned onlookers watched from Westminster Bridge as the magician recorded the stunt for his new TV show Dynamo: Magician Impossible.
A spokesman insisted the photographs were not faked.

13 Suspects Charged With Conspiracy, Murder - Aluu Killing.

The Rivers police command on Wednesday arraigned 13 suspects before a Port Harcourt Magistrate’s Court and charged them with conspiracy and murder of four students of the University of Port Harcourt.
The suspects were arraigned on a five-count charge of murder, felony, conspiracy, lynching, and burning.

Prosecuting policeman, Adiari Idafi, told the court, presided over by Magistrate Emma Woke, that the accused on October 5, allegedly murdered Chiadika Lordson, Ugonna Kelechi Obusor, Mike Lloyd Toku and Tekena Elkanah.

Idafi named the accused as Hassan Welewa, 59 (male); Lawal Segun, 28 (male), Lucky Orji, 43 (male), Cynthia Chinwo, 24 (female), Ekpe Daniel, 30 (male).

Others are George Nwadei, 20 (male); Gabriel Oche, 33 (male); Ozioma Abajuo, 23 (male); Chigozie Evans Samuel, 22 (male); Endurance Edet, 27 (male), and Endurance Okoghiroh, 24 (male).

Also arraigned were David Chinasa Ugbaje, 30 (male) and Ikechukwu Louis Amadi, alias Kapoon, 32 (male).

Idafi stated that the offence was punishable under Section 324 of the Criminal Code Cap 37 Laws of River State, Nigeria, 1999, and Section 319 of the Criminal Code Cap 37 Vol. III laws of Rivers State, Nigeria, 1999. The accused were asked by the court if they understood the charges and they consented, but no pleas were taken.

The magistrate ordered that the accused be remanded in police custody for further investigation, and adjourned the case till December 20, for further hearing.......

Key Factor In Successful Marriage.

ROMANCE!        What exactly is Romance?
     
          Romance refers to the actions and feelings of people who are in love, especially behavior which is caring and affectionate.  A romantic person therefore is one who says or does things that make his wife or her husband feel special and loved. Romance involves the expression of an individual’s feelings and emotions.

Romance requires time, activities, effort, and creativity. Romance is a definite way of sustaining the love in a relationship. And when you've chosen to spend the rest of your life on earth with someone, it behooves you to do all you can to enjoy every moment of that life. Romance, therefore, is a way of ensuring that you enjoy your life together as married couples.

However, it has been discovered that many marital relationships are devoid of romance. And if romance is all about expression of love in diverse and creative ways, little wonder that the rate of divorce is on the increase daily. To many people, romance is just the exclusive reserve of dating and courtship. According to a line of thought, “romance is a relationship between two persons who are in love with each other, but who are not married to each other.” So, once married, romance should be relegated to the background. What this simply means is that love is kept out of marriage, because love is romance and romance is love. To do away with romance in the marriage setting is to kick love out of the marriage. And this means that the marriage is dead because the situation in such an instance is a case of “No love, No marriage.”

Keeping the marriage romantic requires the commitment of the partners to the ideals of romance. To achieve this, a revisit of our earlier discourse on love keys for marital bliss becomes relevant. Under the love keys write up, we stated that love keys are different ways of expressing love to one another that bring about the best of romantic marriage anyone can experience. I term them keys, because without them, you are denied access to your spouse’s heart. Remember that with the right key, access to a door is guaranteed, while the door remains permanently inaccessible without it. Couples must realise that for marital harmony and love sustenance in a marriage, they must know what love keys are, understand how they work, and discover which of these keys works for their partners to ensure the fire of their love burns “till  death do them part.”

Everyone Needs Love.
One fact of life that couples need to realise is that everyone needs love. Psychologists have concluded that the need to feel loved is a primary human emotional need. This starts from childhood and follows us into adulthood and marriage. The need to feel loved is the greatest key for marital sustenance. When we feel loved, we become amazingly wonderful in relating with our partner, while without love, we make life naturally unbearable for our partner through harsh words, misbehaviour, unfaithfulness, withdrawal, sexual denial, and criticism among others. Can a marriage survive without romance? The answer is an absolute no, because romance is just creativity in expressing one’s love.

Love keys are ways of making one’s spouse to feel special and loved. These keys are basically five in number, just as Gary Chapman puts it in his book, ‘The Five Love Languages.’ However, for purpose of clarity, I chose to name them as follows:

Key 1: Good words or verbal compliments

Key 2: Undivided attention

Key 3: Physical contact

Key 4: Gifts appreciation

Key 5: Good deeds

All these are all to make one’s partner feel loved and special, which is what romance is all about. I once heard the story of a young man, who went proposing to a lady. The first response he got was that the proposal was not romantic. He got worried and started thinking of a way to convince the lady of his romantic prowess. Thus, next time he was going to see the lady, he bought love cards with different messages of love. The lady responded by telling him that he was becoming a burden. The young man was bewildered and said, “but you said I was not romantic.” The lady laughed and asked in astonishment, “Is this how to be romantic?” I leave the judgement to you as to whether or not his action was a romantic act.

How To Keep Romance Fire Burning In Marriage...

Step 1: Make Time For Each Other.
The most common reason for romance dwindling in a relationship is a simple lack of time spent together as a couple. You need to make time for each other in order to get the ball rolling. Set aside one night a week to make a date. This could be anything from cooking a meal together at home to a night at the theatre, just as long as you both agree to spend time alone together with no distractions.

Step 2: Tell Them You Love Them.
Try to find new and original ways to say “I love you” that will make it more memorable. Leave a little note for your partner somewhere they will see it, like on the fridge or their computer screen.

Paying your partner a compliment is guaranteed to win their heart. Telling them how much you love their smile or how great they look will make them feel lucky to be with you.

Sending your partner a love letter is the height of romance. Hand written letters are rare these days, so, if your partner is the traditional type, they will adore the fact that you took the time and effort to write to them, just to tell them you love them.

Step 3: Show Them You Care.
If you want to treat your partner, surprise them by cooking their favourite meal at home, which you can eat together by candlelight. You could even include foods that can put you both in the mood for romance. Foods you can eat with your hands, such as asparagus, exotic fruits, figs and chocolate work best as you can feed them to each other.

Pick wild flowers for your partner for a simple but effective gift. Your thoughtfulness will be hugely appreciated.

Step 4: Think Bigger.
If little things aren’t your cup of tea, then, by all means, think big. Surprise your loved one with a romantic weekend break somewhere that you cannot be disturbed or buy them that piece of jewellery they’ve had their eye on. You can also plan a romantic picnic together in secluded location, where there will be no distraction.

There is no doubt that romance would be kept intact if these are practiced by every couple......

A Camera On Your Wrist That Answers The Phone.

Frantically hunting for your mobile phone to answer a call may soon be a thing of the past.

Scientists have developed a sensor, worn on the wrist like a watch, which allows the wearer to control any electronic device with a simple wave of the hand.

The gadget uses a minute camera to track hand movements and can recognise specific gestures, which it translates into commands – such as a thumbs up to answer the phone.

Because it does not rely on fixed external sensors, such as those found on games consoles, it can be used outside the home.

And, as it connects wirelessly with other electronic equipment, users can control items such as mobile phones without holding them – even if they are in a bag or another room....

But it cannot do everything – users will have to use a headset or earphones to have a conversation if their mobile is not within reach.

The project, called Digits, was developed by researchers at Newcastle University and Microsoft Research Cambridge. The scientists say it could even allow people to use cash machines and chip and PIN devices more securely by entering their information from inside their pocket.

The sensor can track a user’s fingertip movements in the dark, reading them as if they were typing on a keypad before transmitting the code to the bank’s device.

The researchers said one of the biggest advantages of the device is that it leaves the hand free – unlike the data gloves which are often worn to interact with virtual reality applications. Patrick Olivier, a professor of human-computer interaction at Newcastle University who has worked on the prototype, said: “It allows you to use everyday gestures or move your fingers to interact with a whole host of electronic devices and not just in the home. It is more than just a remote control, in the future everyone would have just one wrist-sensor to control all their gadgets.

“The idea is that you programme it to recognize a hand movement, such as turning a knob, and this will then control the volume on the device it is connected to. Or a thumbs up could answer the phone – the user can choose any gesture that suits them.”

The prototype was launched on Monday at an international conference in the US on human-computer interaction held in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

David Kim, a Microsoft Research PhD student at Newcastle University, said: “Ultimately, we would like to reduce Digits to the size of a watch that can be worn all the time.

“We wanted users to be able to interact spontaneously with their electronic devices using simple gestures without even having to reach for them.

“Can you imagine how much easier it would be if you could answer your mobile phone while it’s still in your pocket or buried at the bottom of your bag?”

Kim Kardashian Already Hearing Wedding Bells With Kanye.

Reality star Kim Kardashian may not be officially divorced from her ex-husband Kris Humphry yet, but that doesn't mean to say that she isn't already thinking about tying the knot with current beau Kanye West.

Speaking to Tatler Magazine, Kim revealed that she had always wanted a big blowout of a wedding like the one she had with husband of 72 days Humphry, but next time round she wants something a little more low-key. She told the magazine: "It had always been my dream to have a big wedding, and when people said that I'd made it over the top for ['Keeping Up with The Kardashians'], that was just me - I am over the top. But the next time, I want to do it on an island with just my friends and family and that's it."

Kim and Kanye have been seeing each other for around seven months now and in the interview with Tatler she admits that unlike past relationships, she feels as though this is the one as she is truly in tune with her man. Mark Zuckerberg Writes Touching Message After Facebook Hits 1 Billion User-Mark.

Facebook continues to prove its detractors wrong, clocking a monthly user base of over a billion. That's double the 500 million it hit in July 2010. August 2008 marked another big juncture, 100 million users.

The latest milestone also amounts to nearly half of the world's roughly 2.5 billion Internet users, as measured by the International Telecommunications Union.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg marked the milestone on his Facebook page, as he has in the past when the site's users hit nice round numbers.

"If you're reading this: thank you for giving me and my little team the honor of serving you," he wrote. "Helping a billion people connect is amazing, humbling and by far the thing I am most proud of in my life."

Most of the Facebook users - 81 per cent - live outside of the US and Canada. Many of them log in on mobile devices rather than personal computers, and the company now has 600 million mobile users.

The people joining now are young, with a median age of 22. It was 23 in 2010 and 26 in 2008 and 2007. Most of them are from Brazil, India, Indonesia, Mexico and the United States.

And millions of them are not actual people. Facebook acknowledged in August that 8.7 per cent of its then-955 million users may be duplicate or false accounts. At that rate, as many as 87 million accounts are fake.

As expected, the longer users are on Facebook, the more "friends" they have on the site. A user who signed up two years ago has an average of 305 friends. Someone who signed up in December 2005, when Facebook had nearly 6 million users, now has nearly 600 friends, on average.

The California-based company's stock never recovered from a botched initial public offering (IPO) in May, at one point seeing its value slashed in half by shareholders who don't think it's increasing revenue fast enough, especially from its fast-growing mobile user base.

Last month Zuckerberg gave his first interview since Facebook's shaky IPO and since that time he's been working hard to boost confidence among investors, employees and the public.

The 28-year-old executive also continued to reassure that he is the right person to lead Facebook, as some on Wall Street have questioned whether he has the ability to lead a large public company.

Chris Brown Reveals Love Triangle Pain.

Chris Brown is struggling to cope with "loving two people at the same time".

The singer has posted a candid video he has named 'The Real Chris Brown' onto the internet and in it the musician is seen discussing his romantic dilemma over his past relationship with Rihanna - who he was convicted of assaulting in 2009 and has recently been linked to again - and former girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

Chris, who posted the video hours after confirming his split from Karrueche on Thursday - says in the video: "I'm stressed out ... when you share history with somebody, then you tend to fall in love with somebody else, it's kinda difficult.

Bizarre statement, yeah?

"Is there such thing as loving two people? I don't know if that's possible, but for me, I feel like that."

The footage shows scenes with both women and Karrueche seemed less than impressed with the film.

She tweeted: "Wtf is going on? All I'm saying is you don't mess with people's genuine feelings. You just don't! Life moves on ... So let's all."

Rihanna didn't address the news directly, but posted on Twitter: "Ain't nobody bidness ... But mine and my baby! (sic)"

Secret rendezvous with Rihanna.......Hmmmmmm

Chris made a bizarre statement when he announced the end of his relationship with Karrueche.

The 23-year-old singer revealed he called it a day with the model because he couldn't give up his close "friendship" with former flame Rihanna, who he was spotted kissing at New York nightclub Griffin on Monday night.

He said: "I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna.
"I'd rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives."

The singer has dated Karrueche since late 2011, but constant reports of his secret rendezvous with Rihanna were a source of contention in their relationship.....

Mikel Obi Takes A Shot At Music.

Chelsea and Nigerian midfielder, John Obi Mikel has made foray into music with the setting up of a label named Matured Money Minds.

The label has since kicked off operations with four acts including Jason ‘Kido’ Igho, brother of the winner of the 2011 edition of the reality TV show, Big Brother Africa, Karen Igho.

Karen wrote on Twitter on Thursday, ‘Mikel Obi signed my brother @callme_KIDO to his record label’.

Other acts on the newly formed label are Charass, Edgar and Splash.

With the help of his younger brother Patrick Obi, the 25-year-old football star has set up his Matured Money Minds (MMM) entertainment label.
Mikel who has a relationship with P-Square, is hoping to take music promotions in Nigeria to another level.

“Mikel had always showed his love for music. Setting up a label is just a confirmation of his desire to contribute to the growth of the industry in Nigeria,” said a source.

The artists on the label have reportedly cut their albums and full promotions are in the pipeline to promote and make them rub shoulders with the biggest artistes in the music industry in Nigeria.....

CBN Directs Banks To Accept Voters' Card For Identification.

Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Thursday directed banks to accept the voters’ card issued by Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as means of identification.

The directive was given via a circular titled “Inclusion of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, voter’s registration card as a means of customer identification”.

The circular said: “Further to our circular on anti-money laundering/counter financing terrorism (AML/CFT), Regulation 2009 on acceptable means of identification for the purpose of account opening and transaction of banking business in Nigeria, it has become necessary as a result of the need to enhance financial inclusion, to extend the acceptable identification options".

“Accordingly, all banks and other financial institutions are hereby advised to accept INEC Voter’s Registration Card duly issued by INEC, bearing the holder’s particulars such as name, photograph, date of birth and address as a valid additional means of identification of natural persons for the purpose of conducting banking business in Nigeria.”

In another development, the CBN has commenced measures for banks to have a common account opening procedure. The apex bank yesterday issued a draft documents for account opening by individuals and corporate bodies. The draft document was communicated to banks via a circular titled, Account Opening Forms.

It stated that, “the absence of uniformity in account opening procedure and documentation for prospective customers has continued to hinder the effectiveness·of KYC requirement in banks and other financial institutions in Nigeria.

“The adverse implication of this on the fight against money laundering and  combating of financing of terrorism cannot be overemphasized. The CBN, in conjunction with the Committee of Chief Compliance Officers of Banks in Nigeria, CCCOBIN, has therefore developed draft uniform account opening forms for adoption by banks and other financial institution”.

Facebook is doing everything it can to come up with new sources of revenues.
Now it's turning to its massive base of users with a new product, Promoted Posts, that it's introducing to the United States.
The feature lets you pay to mark a post as "Sponsored" and have it appear prominently in your friends' News Feeds.
Businesses have been able to buy such ads for a while. And ordinary users have always had the option to buy display ads that appear on the right-hand rail of Facebook's website—sometimes using Facebook's targeting to comic effect by targeting coworkers, journalists, or employers. (For a while, "Hire Me" Facebook ads were a thing.)
But ads in the News Feed are generally thought to be the most likely to be noticed, since that's the area of the site where most Facebook users focus their attention.
One thing's for sure: Once Facebook users start noticing these ads, there's almost certainly going to be a ruckus as we sort out the etiquette of advertising aspects of our life to our friends.

Chris Brown And Rihanna Are Hooking Up: Why This Can't Happen.

This news is best told in the same way you would rip off a band-aid: quickly, with little regard to pain. Chris Brown and Rihanna may be back together. Take some time to let your hurt go numb, and then we can continue our chat.

So, here's the story as E! News tells it. Rihanna and Brown were both at New York club Griffin on Monday, and after sitting at separate tables for a little, Brown sidled up to Rihanna. Then, before anyone knew what was happening or could put a stop to it, Rihanna and a shirtless (how this happened is a point of contention) Brown were spotted dancing and making out on the dance floor. Another eyewitness then spotted Brown and Rihanna leaving the Gansevoort Hotel together on Tuesday around 5:50 PM.

On the count of three, let's all groan and cry together. One, two, three.

But, in all seriousness, this is bad news. Whether she wants it to be the case or not, Rihanna is someone young girls look up to. She's young herself (only 24), talented, beautiful, and outspoken � the perfect recipe for a role model. So when the impressionable youth of today see Rihanna smooching and cavorting with a man who once beat her to a bloody pulp, they may be led to believe that giving your abusive ex another chance is an okay thing to do. And it is not. I repeat, returning to a man who has physically harmed you is never an okay thing to do. But what if he ... NO.

Even more troubling than Rihanna's inability to stay away is the ease with which Chris Brown's fans forgive him. Since the initial altercation in 2009, Brown's career has hardly faltered. In 2010, Brown was asked to perform a Michael Jackson tribute at the BET Awards, where he also accepted the AOL Pandemonium prize. He also had his first No. 1 hit since 2006, ""Deuces,"" and starred in and executive produced the film Takers. His 2011 album F.A.M.E. then debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart. All the while, Brown has been buoyed up by legions of fans and over 11 million Twitter followers who have decided to forgive and forget the fact that he is a criminal. Reactions to Brown's violence against Rihanna included such despicable comments as, ""Call me crazy but I would let Chris Brown beat me up anyway."" Would you really? Would you wish domestic violence on your sister, your mother, your daughter, or are you just willing to put up with it yourself?

Of course, as the news of a Chris Brown/Rihanna reunion spreads, I worry about Rihanna's personal and emotional safety. I worry that she is setting herself up for a vicious cycle of abuse. However, I am almost more worried about the precedent this sets. I'm worried about the young men and women who may use Brown and Rihanna's volatile relationship as an excuse to act the same way. Why is punching your girlfriend okay? Because Chris Brown does it and still tops the charts. Why is staying with a man who hurts you okay? Because Rihanna does it and no one is cooler than she is. This rationale is terrifying. And the only way I see to stop the cycle is to stop these statements from being true. So, world, stop buying Chris Brown's records. And, Rihanna, do not stay with a man who hurts you. Stop the insanity before it's too late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
